Boiled Cookie Recipe (aka No-Bake Cookies)
A quick chocolate oatmeal cookie made by boiling instead of baking!
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup peanut butter
- 3 cups quick oats
Instructions
-
Melt stick of butter in large saucepan over medium heat.
-
Add sugar, milk and cocoa powder. Continue stirring constantly over med-high heat until mixture comes to a rolling boil.

Once it’s boiling, stop stirring and let it boil, untouched for 60 seconds.
-
Turn off heat and add peanut butter and vanilla extract.
-
Stir in oats until completely incorporated.
-
Drop cookies onto parchment or waxed paper. (I used a 1/3 measuring cup for bigger, more equal-sized cookies.)
-
Let cool completely and serve!
