Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has announced the full line-up of its HxGN LOCAL Smart Manufacturing UK Conference next month.
The two-day conference will be held at The Belfry Hotel Resort near Birmingham and gets underway on October 1st. It will include a keynote presentation from Sir Ranulph Fiennes and aims to gather manufacturing leaders to discuss industry trends, such as the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation and the smart factory.
Attendees will have the opportunity to consume the insights from a host of speakers around automation, future workforce skillset requirements and the impact of the current economic climate, and then share views and ideas during several networking sessions.
Sir Ranulph’s presentation will include stories from his international expeditions, while Hexagon’s own Norbert Hanke will touch on the untapped smart potential in the processes manufacturers are using today in his ‘Smart is Hiding in Plain Sight’ talk. Other speakers include Paul McGee, a Sunday Times bestselling author, and Paul Andrews, the Senior Partnership Development Manager of Roborace.
